Description:
Still worried about bathing your baby?Look here please~Check this cute bath bath card.It will help you quickly check the temperature of baby’s bath water,so that you can be confident that it is both comfortable and safe for your child.
There has a thermometer strip on the thermometer card, which is made with a substance called cholesteric liquid crystals Temperature changes can affect the color of a liquid crystal, which make them useful for temperature measurement.
There are two stages in the liquid crystals:
- the hot nematic stage is the closest to the liquid phase where the molecules are freely moving around and only partly ordered.
- The cold smectic stage is closest to a solid phase where the molecules align themselves into tightly wound chiral matrixes.
Liquid crystal thermometers portray temperatures as colors and can be used to follow temperature changes caused by heat flow. They can be used to observe that heat flows by conduction, convection, and radiation.
How to use bath thermometer?
Dip the bath thermometer into the bath water and wait for 15 seconds.
Read the temperature that appear on the thermometer strip and compare with the guide printed on the
card.
Please note:
The reading must be taken when held under the water for a few seconds and the water must come fully into contact with the thermometer card.A tick on a green background must appear.
The margin of safe/comfortable water temperature lies around 37C.
A bath thermometer is for guidance only and is not a substitute for parents’ personally testing the water temperature before putting baby in the bath.
